MEASURING YOUR WAIST
Follow any one of these techniques to ensure accurate measuring:
- Measure around your waistline where you normally wear your pants. Keep a finger between your body and the measuring tape for a more accurate fit.
- Measure your favorite pair of pants or dress. Place the measurement where you would normally wear your belt.
- Measure a belt you already own, starting at the buckle’s pin and ending at the hole you use most. That number will be your “belt length” in the above chart.
Tip: If you don’t have a measuring tape, use a piece of string or fabric and hold it alongside a ruler.
